Launching VIDI X Universe – a teaching tool for CS without hardware requirements! 

VIDI X developed Introduction to Computer Science, titled VIDI X Universe: a new exceptional online education program described by teachers as “well-planned”, “accessible”, “innovative” and “fascinating”. This new VIDI X program is designed to work for any school, without a microcomputer or additional hardware 

Educators highlighted the teacher-led pacing and the ability to conduct lessons and activities even without computer access. This flexibility supports instruction in both digital and traditional classroom settings and allows teachers and students to interact away from screens.  

The curricula align closely with all the core standards for computer science. The system allows schools and districts to implement the material across various educational environments. The VIDI X Universe debuted at the Innovation Summit in Nashville and provides a structured framework for computer science education throughout the Tennessee state.
